I used to see Simon from time to time on Ski club walks and ski holidays. It was always a pleasure to chat with him. He was always so friendly and upbeat. He was also very interesting and so enthusiatic and optimistic. We often talked politics and he was well informed and had interesting views. He was also very kind. I remember he used to arrive every morning on the club skiing holiday in Norway and take our skis and wax them for us! A genuinely nice person that I will miss greatly. Judith Georgas
