Simon was such a warm, supportive and generous person who always responded so positively to requests and suggestions that came from my part of the Leeds system (voluntary community and faith organisations). He was so committed to getting things right for Leeds through full and rounded insights, but this was never dry: always with humour and creativity. My thoughts with his family, friends and colleagues at this incredibly difficult time, but I hope that knowing what a massive positive impact he has had will help in some small measure.
